Vehicle Detail
This is a 1967 Cadillac Deville Convertible that has been in my family since the early 1970s. Car was in Nevada for most of its life where it was garaged and well kept until last couple of years when it was stored in a carport and not used. Car is currently in Ohio. Some rust is starting to bubble up in paint around the rear wheel wells. Color is a highly desired & beautiful moss/pea green. In 2014 lots of engine work was done to get it running again, but it was determined by a mechanic that the engine rings are bad/worn and an engine rebuild was recommended due to found metal fragments in in engine. Here is a list of some of the repair work we did in 2014 ($2000+):- New Mechanical Fuel Pump- New Distributor- New Muffler- New Cap and Rotar- New Ignition Coil- New Air Filter- All Spark Plugs and Wires Replaced- Carburator Rebuilt- New Push Rods- New Manifold Gasket- New Thermostat- New Battery- Some Fuel Lines Replaced Cosmetic Issues: This car is stunner and great candidate for restoration. New owner will likely want to replace all or some of dashboard and upholstery. It all needs a major cleaning if nothing else. We started to clean it and upholstery came out nice, but there are areas with rips/tears/stains. This car came fully loaded with power windows, seats, etc. Starting bid at $1500.00 with NO RESERVE. Buyer responsible for pick up. Car will need to be towed.
