Vehicle Detail

1966 Chevrolet El CaminoUp for sale is my 66 El Camino. I've owned the car for a couple of years now and over the course of the past year it has been my daily driver. In that time it has been a great vehicle and I've truly enjoyed owning it. The car has a 5.7L 350 V8 with a TH350 Transmission which send plenty of power back to the 3.73 Posi Rear End. This is a great cruising gear but also has lots of get up and go when you want it. Some things that have recently been done to the car are:New Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor and air cleaner.New A/C Delco spark plugs, plug wires, and Flamethrower distributor cap. Many new front end components including shocks, coil springs, and more.New air shocks on the rear with a manual valve.New exhaust from the headers back with glasspack mufflers (I've owned many classic cars and this exhaust note has got to be one of the best rumbles I've ever heard)!Rare Western aluminum rims with Goodyear Eagle tires have been put on the car. The rims have a gold trim which really helps tie in with the interior!Herculiner bedliner in the bed of car. Note: The wheel wells in the bed have also been tubbed out by a previous owner. The car currently has a flat black paint job with white stripes that looks good from a few feet away or going down the road but has imperfections once you get up on it. It has some rust spots mainly down on the lower quarter panel of the passenger side and some around the drivers side rear wheel well. The interior is pretty cool and is in good shape although the carpet could be changed. There is one spot on the rear drivers side of the frame where the frame has been patched. It was done with a thick steel channel and is nice and solid. The only "problem" that I know of is that there is a small oil leak. I'm pretty sure it is coming from the valve cover I just simply haven't had time to look into it. This is not a show car but as I stated earlier it has been my daily driver for the past year and has been EXCELENT! It always fires right up when you turn the key and it has never left me stranded and always gets attention everywhere I go. This is a great driver quality classic car for someone who wants a classic that they can actually put some miles on and enjoy! I have a clean Michigan title in my name ready to go! I also have a set of 1966 Michigan license plates that I will include with the car. A $500 deposit by paypal is required within 24 hours of the auction ending and the remaining payment is to be paid via paypal or in cash within 72 hours of the auction ending. Buyers are encouraged to come see the car in person if possible before bidding and if you have any questions whatsoever you can contact me through ebay or you can call or text me at (586) 907-6704 Thanks for looking!
