I am selling a 1967 Ford Fairlane 500XL that has been extensively modified into one mean pro touring car. This car has been featured in a number of magazines and shows very well. Howard's roller cam .576/.568 Patriot Performance aluminum heads port matched to the Edelbrock Air Gap 7521 intake. Scorpion 1.6 roller rockers. Canton 7qt, dual sump oil pan. Quick Fuel 680cfm carb. March serpentine pulley kit. Billet Specialties thermostat housing, wires looms, radiator cap and air filter housing w/K&N filter. Ford Motorsport valve covers. Custom build motor mounts to clear rack. Electrical: PowerMaster 100amp alternatorMSD billet distributorMSD Blaster coilMSD 6AL box and MSD wires. Cooling: Northern aluminum radiator with rear shroud. Dual SPAL electric fans. Edelbrock high flow aluminum water pump. Billet Specialties overflow tank. Exhaust: Full length Hooker ceramic coated Comp headers. Custom bent exhaust system, using Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Transmission: Performance rebuilt C4 autoCustom built PTC 3,000 stall converter. Stock shifter. Rearend: Heidt's Ford 9" posi. Narrowed couple inches. 31 spline axles and 3.50:1 gears. Suspension: Front:Heidt's Superride II front power rack and pinion, with tubular A-arms and adjustable chrome coil over shocks. Rear:Heidt's 4-link rear suspension with adjustable chrome QA1 coil over shocks. Brakes: Front: Wilwood 13" - 6 piston calipers. Rear: Wilwood 12" - 4 piston calipers. Chrome mini brake booster. Interior: Mostly stock and unrestored in great condition with one minor flaw in the drivers seat. Dash has a couple minor cracks around the speaker perfs. Color: Ivy Gold. Bucket seats with center console. Stock shifter. Stock 1-speaker AM radio. Autometer tach and Stewart Warner Green Line H2O temp and oil pressure gauges. Paint/Body: Paint and bodywork were done 17 years ago and still looks like new. Slight custom mix of the original color, which is Sauterne Gold. Paint brand: Sikkens. Crites Performance 427R Code hood. All trim is original and shows very well for its age. All glass is original and in excellent shape. The bottom of the car is totally rust free and painted chassis black. There is one spot in the floor that has been repaired at some point. Its only about a 6 inch patch and the rest of the underneath is gorgeous. The previous seller was not honest with me about this so I wanted to be sure to include in my description. Its not horrible but it is there. Wheels/Tires: Centerline Stage II 18" wheels. BF Goodrich g-Force T/A's. Front: 235/40ZR18 Rear: 275/35ZR18 This car runs and drives great. The buyer will not be disappointed. This is a very nice custom Fairlane with modern suspension upgrades and brakes. This car shows VERY well. I would consider this an Excellent driver but it is NOT a 100 point show car. It certainly wouldn't take too much to make it one though.
