You are looking at a 1960 Impala that was sitting in an Oklahoma barn for years. We got it running by going through the fuel and ignition systems and it runs really well. We started with a new fuel tank, fuel sender, fuel pump and a carb overhaul. We also replaced all of the rubber fuel lines. Next was the electrical, we replaced the battery and battery cables. That and a filing of the points was all it needed to fire right up and run great. We then added new plugs, a new water pump and all fresh fluids before we took it on a road test. Needless to say, though it drove good it would barely stop so we installed a disc brake kit up front, rebuilt the rear brakes, replaced all the flex hoses and added a dual master cylinder, power brake booster,and a Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve. Now it ran and stopped well. We then went through the suspension with a few new ball joints, some of the control arm bushings, all four shocks and the addition of a 4 corner adjustable airride suspension that rides great. Once the car was running and driving I went through all the lights and signals. Everything works as it should except for the wipers. The body is incredible condition except some damage under the passenger headlight and a dent right above the drivers rear wheel visible in photos. The undercarriage is rock solid and so is the trunk, no rust repair needed nor has it had any anywhere in the undercarriage or trunk. There is still a few things to do to be able to use it daily, first is the powerglide transmission will not lock in park so if you're on a severe incline the car could potentially roll away. I had to remove the tail pipes to fit the 22x10 rear wheels and have not replaced them, I would recommend a new exhaust system anyways as the system that's on the car is pretty old. The passenger door glass has a crack and the windshield has a small crack and a pretty good wiper scratch too, rest of the glass is usable. The interior will need completely gone through, its in rough shape. As mentioned earlier the wheels are 22x10 in the rear and 20x8.5 in front. One front wheel has some of the chrome coming off on the hoop and will need to be rechromed.
