Vehicle Detail

***Private sale*** For sale by owner. This car is in unbelievable condition, and a gorgeous color combination. It just sparkles. Best of all.... It is a low-mileage, never-restored, no-excuses, original !!! The fastest rising segment of the collector car market is non-restored originals. This is one of the best I have seen in years. None of the weather-strips, rubber mouldings, or seals have so much as a tiny crack. There is zero sun-damage, shrinkage, or fading. Even the factory original windshield is without a single chip or pit !!!!! I've included a close-up photo of the tag. I'm at a loss of where to begin. This is such a sweetheart of a car. It catches everyone's eyes. With it's gleaming red paint, white top, and sparkling chrome. It is just fabulous back-to-front, and top-to-bottom. Please take a close look at the photo's. I've tried my best to show it from all angles including close-ups. It all shows as new in so many regards. This is an excellent, no-excuses car; being offered privately by myself, and my family, to yours. Currently, we are restructuring our little collection to make room for some other vintage collectibles. We have sold several but, have unexpectedly acquired two others we could not resist. Although we are excited about our recent purchases, we reluctantly have to sell something to make way. This has been a wonderful car that we've truly enjoyed having. I particularly enjoy watching peoples reactions to this car as we drive by on a sunny day. It really almost glitters. The color scheme is absolute eye candy. We have a number of classics and can tell you that, dollar for dollar, this is a stunner. It is spectacular to behold on a sunny day. I'm going to miss this one. Jay Leno said that a true collector has to let go a few pieces to expand his collection. In any regard, our reserve is very low to ensure a sale. The Canadian dollar is currently at a record low. We're hoping the exchange rate will make up for any potential loss. Take advantage of the timing, and get a great bargain! Please note: Because of the age of this car, it is free to travel with no restriction. There are no special forms or documents. It can be shipped to the US nearly as easily as from state to state. If you have any questions, please let me know. I'll be happy to help out. Using a Cdn shipping company may save you a few extra dollars as well. Currently, the US dollar is about 1.30 Cdn. This should make up for any extra distance, and then some. We enthusiastically look forward to a successful sale, and enjoyable process. Please do not hesitate to send any questions. We'll do our absolute best to accommodate you, likely over-extending to make up for our relative inexperience. Have fun bidding, and have a great day! On Sep-14-15 at 20:25:32 PDT, seller added the following information: There are 2 small scratches in the paint. Both on the sides, and each about 2.5 inches in length. There is also a small area of isolated chipping by the rocker. It is again, about 2.5" in size. Remarkably, that's it. I have not had them touched up. In an effort to maintain the integrity of the originality of this car, I have not had anything touched up. My logic was that touch-ups can always be done but, can never be undone. There are really no other noteworthy flaws. The paint is original. I only enhanced it by having it wet-sanded with 3000 grit, and had it given a 3-stage polishing. It looks absolutely outstanding. I was on the fence about having the 2 small scratches and chipped spot touched up. The car has always been kept inside, and likely not even been driven 5 times since. The sheen is astounding and the overall condition nothing shy of astonishing. If you would like to make an offer, please do so. I am not adverse to negotiation, and/or ending the auction should a price be agreed to. If you would like to make an offer, please ensure your intention by bidding first. I promise to reciprocate by being more than fair. Thank you, and sincere regards.
