1966 Fairlane 500 2 owners first owner from 1966- 2003 Second owner 2003 to present. Have two sets or Original keys, owners manual and owners ID tag and warranty card. Sun visors have protective covers from dealer in 1966 also rear seat has original seat cover dealer installed shows its age but has been left on due to being so original to this car. There is also a set of front and rear plastic one piece floor mats installed by dealer in 1966. Car has been in the same town for the past 50 years. Selling dealer also was in the same town. This could be considered a barn find but really it has been in a garage waiting for a owner that will love her. This is a real 390 car backed by a C6 transmission and has the ford 9" rear end. The paint looks to be all original if it is not I can't tell there is some minor nicks and scratches in the paint and two light creases in passenger door. Pictures really tell story with the paint. Motor still has the original Autolite carb and tag as does motor, Still has the original washer fluid bag. Interior is still very sharp for being 50 years old. It is not perfect but looks awesome for its age. AM radio still works and sounds great. All doors and windows work smooth never seen a 50 year old car with better working doors and windows. Rust what rust there is none floor boards fender wells cowl solid as a rock thanks to the dry air here in Idaho. This is not a show stopper but it is one damn cool original 66 fairlane 500 and they are only original once. All emblems there and grill looks great see in pics. Motor runs and drives smooth sounds quite purrs like a kitten but has some kick when you want it. Feel free to ask questions I for got the trunk pics but it is also all original wheels are 14" 68 GT mustangs but have original rims and caps in the trunk caps seen better days Grandma who owned it first like to find curb. Needs new neutral safety switch as you need to wiggle the shifter lever at times to get to crank. Washer fluid lines need replaced. Over all this car is in outstanding condition for never being restored drive as is or restore either way this is a true gem. Feel free to ask questions I have many more pics if interested
