Vehicle Detail
** NO RESERVE AUCTION ** for a one owner Sport Trac 4x4. Religiously serviced every 5000 miles. Exterior is cosmetically rough. Lots of scratches, rock chips, and a couple of very minor dents (two on the hood and one on each front door). Its never been garaged but the paint doesn't appear sun faded. Interior is in surprisingly good shape except for the cracked leather on the center console. Headliner is tight with no sagging. Engine runs strong and transmission shifts smoothly in 2WD. 4WD was very rarely used. It has the push button 4WD and the last time I used it, it seemed like it stuck in 4WD a little. Probably would want to check that out -- I suspect it might just be from lack of use or in the electrical system. Don't think there's an actual transmission problem as the vehicle never pulled anything more than a 5'x8' motorcycle trailer. It does have a bumper mounted ball and four pin electrical trailer hook up. A/C and heat works perfectly. Tires are new with plenty of tread. Seems like the only real issues are minor electrical stuff. The passenger side front window is slow rolling down -- goes up fine. Cruise control does not work at all. Electric door lock doesn't unlock the rear passenger door. It has both the remote door unlock and the push button keyless remote. Vehicle has never been wrecked or in a flood area. Does not currently have, nor has it ever had, a check engine light on. Vehicle has only been titled in Virginia & Tennessee all its life. Starting price set very low due to the cosmetic condition. Only selling because a 2015 Toyota Tacoma just took its parking space. Has a current Virginia registration and Virginia safety inspection. Clear title in hand. On Sep-12-15 at 15:29:50 PDT, seller added the following information: 2 reported accidents. In the 2005 event I rear ended someone at low speed when they started through a stop light and then slammed on the brakes. It resulted in the truck sustaining light body damage to the front end, which was professional repaired. In 2013, a young lady rear ended me at a stop light because she misjudged the stopping distance on wet pavement. It tore her front end up, but the truck sustained no damage at all.
