This 1989 Honda Transalp with 33,400 miles runs perfectly. Tires are like new ( Dunlop Anakee II) I would describe the bike as very clean and good condition. Everything works, I would ride this bike anywhere. Cosmetic issues incled a small crack on each lower fairing (been repaired from the back) and a small dent in the tank, the pictures make it look worse than it is. I want want the buyer to be absolutely delighted with this purchase and invite a personal inspection. I am located about a half hour North of Chattanooga TN. On Sep-05-15 at 09:34:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry about the double description post but here is an update: If you purchase this bike at the buy it now price I will throw in everything needed to upgrade the bike to a Europe Spec. rear disc brake and center stand. That includes a frame, swing arm, rear wheel with disc, master cylinder and caliper, reservoir, factory center stand, lifting handle, and rubber bumpers. I collected all this stuff when I was living in Germany. You do not have to use the spare frame to upgrade, you can simply cut the master cylinder mounting tab and center stand mounting tab off the donor frame and weld it on. In case you decide to transfer over everything from the donor frame, I am including front motor mounts as well (I think they are different than the U.S. ones). I will also include a taller aftermarket windshield and a set of factory engine guards.
