Up for auction is a very nice '77 monte carlo. This car spent it's entire life in Ringold Georgia until I purchased it and brought it to Tennessee. That's right, two states that don't use salt on the roads. I don't even think this car has seen snow. First owner had the car until his passing. His son then drove the car for 2 years then sold it to his best friend who had the engine rebuilt and beefed up, also rebuilt the transmission and had the car repainted. Repaint is very good but not perfect. Engine has had a 488 lift comp cam installed as well as comp push rods and comp rockers. Holley carb (I believe a 650cfm) dual feed, and aluminum intake. Transmission had a b&m shift kit installed. I'm going by previous owner on those things as I haven't pulled engine apart myself. I did see receipts and as strong as the car runs I have no reason to doubt it. Car was sold to me as a actual milage car. As with any 5 digit odometer I can't be sure but the condition of the interior and undercarriage I have no reason to doubt it. Car has dual exhuast with flowmaster mufflers and sounds very nice. As shown there are a few rust bubbles and one small rust spot (surface rust) as shown in pics. The opera window moldings are missing as well as a section of the rear window molding. the a/c compressor was removed when the engine was rebuilt, otherwise car looks to be complete. Tires have about 75% tread, wheels, center caps and beauty rings are new. Center caps are removed in pics but are in trunk to keep from being stolen. I have owned this sweet car for 3 years and it would make a great daily driver or a weekend cruiser. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere, but as with any 38 year old car its being sold as is. I have only listed one other car on eBay and it wasn't a pleasant experience. Ending bid is a contract to buy, not a reservation to be the first to kick tires. Deposit is non-refundable and if not sent in time listed I will list car again without any notice. I have done my best to state everything I know, both good and bad. If you have any questions I will answer promptly and to the best of my knowledge. I will work with the buyer anyway I can because I feel this car deserves a good home. Car is also for sale locally so I may end the auction early.
