This is a lightly used 1986 Xtra Cab Long Bed pick up truck with the 22R four cylinder engine and a manual 5 speed in the floor transmission. There are a lot of good parts on this truck including new side bumper guards for the rear bumper, newly rebuilt carburetor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, rotor cap and rotor. I purchased it from my preacher, who purchased it from a member of our church, and was the original owner. I purchased it with the intention of doing some light restoration on it and using to haul stuff back and forth to our river home. Don't know what's wrong with the engine, it won't turn over completely. It is not frozen or locked up because one can move the crank back and forth several degrees, but not completely over for one full rotation. My mechanic is not familiar with this type of engine, and is only goof for working on external parts of the engine. He's young and has never seen but two engines with carburators, distributors and rotor caps, with mine being the second one. If it doesn't have an outlet to hook a computer up to, he can't work on it. He put a newly rebuilt carb on the truck, cranked the engine and ran for about 1 min and then it stopped. A rebuilt engine can be purchased for less than $1000.00 and you would have a great little truck. Or a good mechanic can probably fix it himself.
