I have decided to put up my "barn find" 1971 Ford Mustang up for sale. She is a numbers matching 1 registered owner mustang with the sport roof. Car was a gift to the women i got it from. Her father worked at the ford plant. He ordered the car for her and supposedly followed it through the plant when it was built. This is a V8 302 4 speed car. Car came with factory ac. Car has minimum rust located primarily in the lower rear quarters and trunk pan. The rest of the car is pretty solid. Car currently isn't running. 1 of the cylinders is locked and I didn't want to force it. Suppose to be just over 50,000 original miles. I don't have proof but minimal wear on pedal pads and original tires and rims are a good indicator. Car was resprayed the original color at some point due to dings from college but paint job wasn't the best and has deteriorated. Car is solid underneath though with no bondo. Doors are nice and tight and close well. Interior plastics need replaced due to car being covered and windows closed while being stored outside last 7 years. Transmission feels very tight. Has a 9 inch rearend under her. Solid pans and towers in her. Car is really an easy fixer especially for her age. She looks very cool just sitting there in her very original old school platform. No badges and original wheels and tires. I do have the title but have not put it into my name. Georgia is a bill of sale state on older cars so title is unnecessary here so it will be up to the buyer to decide if you want me to register it into my name or not. Most states recognize the laws from state to state and will simply take the bill of sale and make a current title in your state in your name if the state requires it to have a title on the older cars. Check with your dmv. Car is being sold in as is where is condition. Questions will be answered asap. I can put you in touch with a shipper as well. Car was upgraded to a factory looking cassette player at some point and a few other miscellaneous extra parts.Just to let everyone know I have dropped the reserve down so she will definitely.
