1972 CB350F Estate Purchase! Low Miles! All original! Needs Love! Stored and not ridden since 1984. Purchased from an estate. eBay does not provide lost title provision (it is not a rebuilt/salvage, water damaged or anything else bike!). Title was lost (can provide bill of sale/last license plate and letter from executor of the estate). I have too many projects and this one deserves some immediate attention! The Good!: This is a complete unrestored (unmolested) bike! I cleaned the carb bowls, ran fresh fuel/seafoam through the tank/lines and out the bowl drains. Petcock works fine, a couple of the bowl floats are sticky. Put a new battery in and she started immediately (had to have some choke to keep running). Runs on all four cylinders with good compression! Charging system puts out a strong 14.35 vdc. All lights/electrical and switches operate! Exhaust is exceptional and will clean up very nicely! Has original Dunlop tires (slight age cracking but they hold air forever). The Bad: Title was lost over the years and the estate executor could not be bothered (at the time, his father had just passed) to get a duplicate title. I will provide the bill of sale from the estate and a bill of sale from me. I will also give you the plate providing the license number and last year of license in Illinois (very helpful when getting a bonded title). At some point, the bike was knocked over while in storage. Slightly bent the left side of handlebars and the left headlight/turn signal bracket. You will also have to spend a lot of time cleaning/polishing all of the chrome and general retouching of much of the bike (it sat in dry storage for 31 years!) there are minor chips and scuffs on the painted pieces and one of the side covers has a fixable crack where someone tried to take it off without lifting it off the upper two tabs (which by the way have the original rubber sleeves on them!). Even the original spare fuse holder is still under the cover. It does not have the tool tray/tool bag or owners manual (those were taken out years ago and probably left on a bench. All the rubber parts seem to be in good shape and pliable! The carbs will need to be gone through (they have NEVER been off the motor!). Original air cleaner is in it and in wonderful shape! I could go on and on, but you get the idea! I am selling this bike because I have too many projects and I am mainly a Kawasaki lover! This bike needs attention from a Honda lover! Bike is sold as-is. It is of course available for local pick-up or I can deliver for a reasonable fee ( I delivered a 1977 Kawasaki KZ650 last month to Pittsburgh, PA for a negotiated price of $350. Which is far less than what a shipper will quote and I got the bike to the new owner within 24 hours of closing the deal!) I do not expect that this auction will last too long! You all know how valuable just a good original exhaust is! I could part this bike out for as much as I am asking, but that would just be wrong! If it does not sell, I will just put it back in dry storage, bond a title, refurbish it and put it on next spring for over twice as much!
