Vehicle Detail
1967 Mercury Cougar Up for auction is a nice 1967 Mercury with a 302 engine and a C4 automatic transmission. The engine is equipped with a Holley 4v carburetor. This car was originally from the Dallas, Texas area where it spent all its life until it was brought to Michigan in 1992. This Cougar is a near rust free example with all its original sheet metal (no patches) along with floor pans, torque boxes, frame rails and shock towers that are as solid as new. The car has been repainted to its present maroon color and is quite nice with only minor imperfections. The only rust is a small spot on the left rear quarter on the wheel lip (see picture). The interior is also in excellent condition with new seat upholstery and flawless original door panels and dash pad. The original carpet is in good useable shape with no rips or worn out spots. An optional center console is included, There is also an original set of Cougar floor mats. This vehicle is loaded with options like power steering, power front disc brakes and A/C (not working but all parts are there). There is also a JVC AM/FM cassette with Pioneer coax speakers in the rear package tray. The near new Michelin 205-75/14 tires ride on optional Cougar styed steel wheels. The original glass, trim and chrome are all in excellent shape. The Cougar exclusive features of Hide away headlights and sequential tail light turn signals are functional and look great. The Door data plate is still in place. The Marti report is included (see picture). I have a clean Michigan title in my name. Please do not hesitate to ask questions via email. The car is also available for inspection. This car is sold as is. All shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Thank you for viewing. On Aug-24-15 at 17:25:28 PDT, seller added the following information: The carburetor is actually an Edelbrock 4v.
