Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1972 Camaro. It is a good driving and running car, but requires a bit more work to make it perfect. The paint is in fair shape, solid 15 footer, has some bubbling and repairable rust issues, car was originally painted green, and has received its current white paint around 15 years ago from what we were told. New soft seal weatherstripping all around, trunk included, needs outer window felts and window alignment. The interior has custom seat covers installed by the previous owner, solid floors and clean dashboard, however there is rust on the edges of the dashboard where the windshield and dashboard meet. Has working aftermarket tachometer, voltage, water temperature, and oil pressure gauges. Speedometer and fuel gauge works along with most of the instrument cluster back lighting (sometimes half of the dashboard goes dark). The previous owner states that this Camaro is a real Z/28 from GM, but does not feature all of the Z/28 options due to its time of production when GM workers were going to go on strike. Apparently GM ordered all Camaro's from a certain point during production to be Z/28's with the idea that they would be sold faster, all of this we were told from the previous owner, how truthful that is, we do not know. According to the numbers, the engine is a Z/28 motor, but does not match the VIN. Tires are in good shape, brakes work, new KYB shocks in the front and new Monroe air shocks in the rear. Has a TH350 transmission with a staple shifter. The gear selector even works on the dashboard! I feel I have described this car to the best of my ability, its in good shape for 43 years old and I have no doubt it will continue on for many years even with some of its issues. With that said I am selling it in AS-IS condition. I bought it with the intentions to restore it and have a nice driver to enjoy while doing so. Sadly due to my divorce, I must let this one go for someone else to finish and love. The car rides great for its year. These are the famous second gen Camaros. They sell upwards of $15,000 to $20,000 dollars. My reserve is much lower, but I'm not giving it away. I have excellent feedback which should tell you something. Good luck!!!!!On Aug-23-15 at 17:46:45 PDT, seller added the following information: RESERVE ALMOST MET. DON'T LET THIS CAR GET AWAY.
