Cars2Charities will provide you with all the DMV paperwork that you will need in order to register the vehicle. Cars2Charities will provide all California buyers with either a Smog Certificate at the cost of $60 (paid by the buyer) or a "certificate of non-compliance". Smog test will be done after vehicle is sold and determined that California buyer has purchased the vehicle. Please call after you purchase the vehicle to request the smog test be performed. Vehicle info: YOU ARE LOOKING AT A 2000 VOLVO V40 THAT WAS DONATED TO A LOCAL NON PROFIT CHARITY. HERE IS THE INFO ON THE CAR: 2000 V40 WAGON 4 CYLINDER TURBO AUTOMATIC POWER WINDOWS POWER DOOR LOCKS TILT CRUISE CASSETTE ALLOY WHEELS ABS MOONROOF LEATHER INTERIOR THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES WELL. IT STARTS UP STRONG AND THE ENGINE IS NICE AND QUIET. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH. ALL THE POWER ACCESSORIES WORK EXCEPT FOR THE RADIO. IT DOES NOT TURN ON. THE A/C BLOWS ICE COLD. THE EXTERIOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE. ORIGINAL PAINT, NO SIGNS OF ANY ACCIDENTS. THE PAINT LOOKS GREAT WITH MINIMAL WEAR ON IT. THE INTERIOR IS IN GOOD SHAPE WITH WEAR SHOWING ON THE FRONT SEAT LEATHER (SEE PICTURES BELOW). THE TIRES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE BRAKES ARE GOOD. THE KEY FOR THE CAR HAS A THICK PLASTIC COATING AND THAT COATING IS BROKEN, YOU WILL NEED TO ORDER A NEW KEY "COVER" FROM VOLVO. THIS IS A SOLID VOLVO WITH HIGH MILES. YOU WILL GET GREAT USE OUT OF IT. THE VEHICLE NEEDS TO BE DRIVEN TO PREPARE FOR THE READINESS SMOG TEST- I HAVE A PICTURE OF OUR COMPUTER THAT WE USE TO SCAN IF A VEHICLE IS READY TO BE SMOGGED. IT NEEDS TO BE DRIVEN APPROX 30-100 MILES AND THEN TAKEN TO THE SMOG CHECK. THERE ARE NO CHECK ENGINE CODES ON THE CAR AND IT IS RUNS FINE. BID WITH CONFIDENCE, ITS A GOOD CAR. Payment and Fees: Each vehicle will be charged a $150 buyer fee on top of the winning bid. After purchase, a $150 deposit must be paid through Paypal within 24 hours of purchase. The deposit must be made on Paypal even if you are local and will be coming in to pick up the vehicle yourself. The balance of the winning bid and buyer fee will be paid at the time of pick up if you are local. All payments except the deposit will need to be certified funds only. This is: Cash, Cashiers check or money order. Delivery of your purchased vehicle: Vehicles must be picked up within 3 business days of your winning bid. If vehicle is not paid and picked up, a storage fee of $10 per day will be assessed on the purchase. If you are making transport arrangements with Cars 2 Charities, you will not be assessed a storage fee. Please call to make arrangements if you are having difficulty picking up the vehicle. Transport: We offer nationwide transport services to all our buyers and transport to the port for all international buyers. Please call us or email for a quote.
