Featured here on eBay for the first time ever, and a short 5 Day auction is an outstanding Real 1970 Chevelle SS-454 L-S5, This beauty comes with a Rare build sheet, and history. Also the original Cowl tag matches the Build sheet. This car is Highly optioned as depicted on the build sheet. Still has its factory GM Cowl Induction Hood, Tilt Wheel with the internals completely rebuilt. New Dual horns work with the factory wheel, Factory Tach and gauge package with an uncut perfect dash, Factory A/M Radio with a Hide away Kenwood C/D radio inside the glove box with nice sounding rear speakers and remote control. F-41 Suspension with Boxed control arms and Sway bars makes it nice and steady to drive. The car is a rust free southern car, I live in NC and i have a summer Lake house in Upstate NY, I transported the Chevelle here to me in may of this year, I always garage it so it is out of the elements. Waxed and ready to drive and show. Also I recently had a new Gas tank installed (Gas Gauge works full range) and new brakes for carefree driving. The engine is not a numbers matching but is a Nice period correct 454 engine, Runs perfect on Pump gas, (I only use Non ethanol Hi test) and the New & Clean tank is always kept Full, it has a Street-able Hyd comp cam, new 750 CFM Holly carb, New Ceramic Headers, The Cam spec sheet is in the console with the owners manual. Very Powerful. Sounds just right. I updated the trans to a newer Corvette 700-R4 Four Speed Overdrive, and Changed the Rear end gears to a New Richmond 373 Posi, what a perfect combination for Power and cruising speeds, Installation was done professionally with all new shifter components, Look at the shifter pictures, Shifter still connected to the steering column for working reverse lights and steering lock with the key just like the factory did. a Nice and Clean Job, You can go a long distance without over revving the motor, and first gear ratio is awesome for leaving from stop lights. You performance Guys know what I'm talking about. If not ask any performance shop. It is finished in the original factory code 28 Fathom blue with white stripes and white bucket seat interior. The underside looks as good as the rest of the car! Features: power steering, power disc brakes, functional original cowl induction hood, factory tachometer, gauges, factory dual exhaust with correct chrome tips, and I did upgrade the Wheels and tires to 15x7 fronts and 15x8 rears, SS rally wheels, F41 suspension with12-bolt Posi-traction and 373 rear axle. See picture, I just had the rear end serviced with new Gear oil and Posi additive. Excellent throughout - all gauges, electrical, and lights work as new, including the reverse lights and all the dash and the little turn signal and hi beam indicators. Inspections are welcome.
