***PRIVATE SALE*** For sale by owner. 1979 Lincoln Continental. This car has only 44,688 miles. We have, somewhat reluctantly, decided to re-structure our little automobile collection. As such, we are selling off some of our cars. Included is this fabulous 1979 Lincoln Continental. While not particularly rare by any sense, I had wanted one of these for many years. I just could not find the right one. There's always one available somewhere but, none were really special enough. That is, until I found this one. This particular car was owned by only one gentleman before us. He was a great fellow. It think it was a difficult decision for him to sell his beloved Lincoln but, he no longer had the ability to store it indoors. Matter of fact, he cupped his hands over his face and sobbed as he gave us his folder of receipts, and documentation. Since owning it, I have really spent the time taking care of this automobile. There is some light damage to the right-rear wheel opening trim. I haven't looked for another yet. Asides from this, it is incredibly well detailed, and shows quite nicely from every angle. It is an original, low mileage car, and I have always had an adoration for genuine low-mile cars. This one's always made me proud. It's a real looker. Not sure what else to say about this one. Be sad to see it go but, we're making room to welcome some different classic toys. Have fun bidding... It's a good one! Our reserve is set very reasonable to accommodate a sale. We've enjoyed having it here but, have realistically driven it less than 500 miles. I'm not afraid to take a loss, and will likely remove the reserve to get on with it. So please bid. It's a really nice car. Thanks. By the way..... There are no import/export restrictions on any vehicle older than 1981. It is exempt from everything. No special forms, no inspections, no nothing. It's as easy as moving a car state to state. I'll set everything up from my end. Having a Cdn shipper deliver it should save you a further 25%. I'll even trailer the car to the shipper for you.
