Found this in Virginia. Purchased by father and ridden for 900mi. Then parked for 35yrs in basement. Was given to son for college, but time made it ness to have restored. Spent over 2000.00 to replace clutch,grips fork seals.handgrips,the list was that the entire bike went thru restoration. All records of what was done and new parts replaced due to time in storage.Every thing was gone thru. List is to extensive to repeat here. New vintage tires ,gelcell battery. Paint is original and stripes are almost perfect, no visable scratches ect. Poeple say it was repainted but due to striping that would not be possible.You could not replace this stripe layout anyway. The exterior parts are the best I have ever seen. Rides, shifts are so precise it seems that it is not shifting at all. The workmanship did not detract from original at all.Chrome is great and no apparent peppering. The 220.00 HAGan shocks were added. The clutches were replaced due to gas having been left on and discs were poluted. The bike was then used by the son to ride arround at university during the time. I purchased it for 3500.00 and shipped it here for additional 400.00. Total invested 3900.00. This bike is in amazing shape. And all original. They are very easy and enjoyable to ride. I am now sixtyfour and will no longer be riding motor cycles. The price is 2900.00 firm. I think it is a steal!!This bike NEEDS NOTHING!!!The original tool kit is with it,also a complete shop manual, and detailed part replacement list and prices is included as well as whom did the restoration. The original paint is awsome shape as well.
