Up for auction is a 1964 GMC Custom Cab 1/2 ton long bed with a clean title, Truck was built in Canada and is all original except the Transmission, It has a 1969 Chevy Camaro 4 speed which was changed when the motor was rebuilt some years back according to the original owner, along with the rear end being changed at the same time. He wanted it higher geared. Since I've had it I put in new master cylinder and all 4 wheel cylinders along with new rubber brake lines and one drum had to be changed, So the brakes are good to go!!! I also put in new starter, new fuel pump, new water pump, new spark plugs, new points and cap, all new hoses, Rebuilt carburetor, Rebuilt radiator, new valve cover gasket, new intake gasket, new fan belt and some fresh tires! I've done allot of work to this truck and it starts at the first click of the key, It has the big 292 6 cylinder and it runs like a Singer sewing machine!!! LOLThis is the custom cab big window as you see in the pictures and is missing the one aluminum bed side strip, That's the way I got it. The rockers are solid with no rust the cab floor has two little rust holes and I mean little on each side next to kick panel which I can fix if very easy before it goes to it's new home. There is rust in the lower part of front fenders but that is common in these trucks and there is some rust in the lower part of the doors because some DUMMY stuffed the door with insulation, But they can be fixed if you like but I like the way it looks so I didn't mess with it! I like that Rat Rod Patina look!!! All the lights work and even the original 4 way flashers work, almost forgot the gas gauge works, Generator light works and oil pressure light works!
