This is a modified 1988 Fiero. The engine and transmission have been replaced. This required removal of the catylitic converter, downsize of the muffler, adding a signal generator for the speedometer, modifying the shift linkage and rewiring to use the new engine computer. The cost to make this modification in 2004 was about $9000 including purchase of the engine and transmission, The seats were recovered with leather. This car will be great for someone who can continue the work on it to make it a show car. I have kept the car in storage in the winter. The car has manual steering, air conditioning, replaced floor carpeting, and leather seat covering. Work I would yet do includes: new paint, align steering wheel, and install the power trunk release.
