Transmission- AOD automatic 4 speed built to handle up to 500 HP with shift kit and 2800 Stahl converter it has a quick firm shift that will set you back in the seat Rear axle- swapped out the original with a direct fit 5 bolt Lincoln 8.8 completely rebuilt with 3:73 gear ratio and posi trac all new gears bearings and seals, with disc brakes brake system- all new calipers, rotors, pads, proportioning valve featuring 4 wheel disc brakes and added a line lock system suspension- new front/rear springs, shocks new Vintique wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich radial T/A tires I have only used Joe Gibbs oil, used the break in oil changed at 500 miles and use Gibbs 10w30 and change at every 3000 miles I just did the second oil change on it, it runs on premium 93+ gasoline only not a lot of people would expect to see an 87 cougar that runs like this and that is exactly why I chose this car, you get a very comfortable daily driver that you can take out on weekends and surprise the heck out of all the street racers out there! plus under normal driving conditions this car gets 20 MPG ! feel free to call me with any questions you have 989-600-4679 or to make a buy it now offer
