NON PAYING BUYER FORCES ME TO RELIST THIS TRUCK. MAKE AN REASONABLE OFFER!!! The truck is gas for those who have asked. Yesterday while moving the truck, the drivers side inside door handle broke off so now I have to roll down the window to open the door to exit the cab. For this money that shouldn't be a deal breaker. I hate like hell to scrap this truck because there is money left to be made with this for someone who needs a utility body pickup. Regarding test drive, yes of course thats fine, I extended the insurance on this until I sell it. PLEASE NOTE, the aluminum top boxes shown in these photos were listed separately and have been sold. I am not going to post new photos with the Aluminum boxes removed. This 1999 Chevy 3500 pickup truck has a utility body, and it is also equipped with a Weather Guard brand after market rack for long materials. The inside dimension of the bed is 4' wide X 8' in length and a standard 4'X8' sheet of plywood is laying flat in the bed in these photos. The truck has just over 132,000 miles, and starts and runs fine. The catalytic converter was stolen and the exhaust system was repaired using standard exhaust pipe parts to eliminate the catalytic converter. In Illinois this vehicle is exempt from emissions testing. There is an apparent malfunctioning thermostat or gauge as the the gauge will sometimes spike up suddenly but it has never overheated. The gas gauge is not functioning, I simply monitor the odometer and re-fill around 150 miles and I have never had an issue. The air conditioning is NOT working. As can be seen in the photo of the grill area with the male electrical plug shown, the truck is equipped with a plug in block heater, which was dealer installed. This is the type of heater that is installed in a freeze plug location. It works great for vehicles that sit outside in the winter. I would not be without one of these and even have one on my Escalade ESV. Tires are good. There is some damage to the body which can be clearly seen in t he photos. This vehicle is in the Oak Brook IL area of west suburban Chicago.
