Thank you for looking at our auction. ATV: This ATV is a 2012 Honda Rancher 420 TM EFI, 4x2, Manual Shift Utility ATV. It is one of the most versatile and dependable ATV's ever made. The heart of this machine is the 420 four stroke, liquid-cooled, work horse engine. This is one of very few ATV engines that will go beyond 10,000 miles with just regular maintenance. It has EFI, Electronic Fuel Injection. EFI makes hard cold starting a thing of the past. It automatically adjusts the air/fuel ratio for temperature and altitude so it's always at the correct ratio to provide smooth power delivery as well as easy starting. No choke or carburetor to worry about. Just turn the key, put it in gear, and you're gone. This is a MAJOR improvement to Honda as there is no more extremely cold natured hard starting. The Engine is backed up by the foot shift transmission. This transmission uses a semi-automatic clutch to make shifting simple. You shift gears simply by lifting or pushing down with your foot. No clutch lever to operate. These are the ultimate in reliability and offer maximum control over what gear your machine is in and stays in. Plus there's no transmission pump to wear out, electric motors to short out, or belts to break. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. If you want an excellent ATV to hunt, work, or play; and bring you a lifetime of enjoyment, this is definitely the machine for you. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine does not have any type of odometer or hour meter so we cannot tell you how many miles or hours it has on it. What we can tell you is that we see and work on a lot of machines throughout the year and this one still has plenty of life left to give. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. It runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc. The plastics are in good shape with some scratches here and there, but this is a used machine and that should be expected. There is some surface rust here and there which comes along with a machine that has been ridden. When you ride in the woods with rain, creeks, and mud; rust happens. The only real blemish is a spot on the left front fender with some heavier scratching and a very small 3/4" long crack. We have even provided a picture below so that you can see exactly what this area looks like. Overall this vehicle looks pretty nice, and seems to have been maintained. Anyone who buys it will get a great running Rancher. It is a blast to ride and will offer you a lifetime of enjoyment. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. However, we are not a wholesaler and we do have to charge sales tax the same as if you are a retail customer. If you are a licensed powersports dealer that's one thing, otherwise we will have to charge sales tax as outlined below. Please keep this in mind when considering placing bids on our items. Details: Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax. (Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. If it ships, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Canadian Bidders: We sell many ATV's to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have an ATV shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
