I am the third owner. Bought the car in 96 from Golden Classics in Clearwater, Fl. If you know them then you know they only have the nicest cars. Second owner was a Kentucky State Trooper from Lexington who bought the car repo'd in 65. It is a factory GT, not a clone, "A" code car with a "K" code hypo motor with three deuces, aluminum Cobra valve covers, hypo heads embossed with a "19". If your a Ford guy you know what that means. I think in 1998 I had a leaking head gasket so I had Power by Ford in Orlando do the heads. They said the heads were already ported and polished. They decked the heads to get them straight, seated the valves and put it back together with Felpro head gaskets and replaced the Ford head bolts with S & K's. The second owner said he liked country music and the factory AM radio wasn't what he wanted so he cut the dash and installed an aftermarket radio, but they make patches for the dash and you can put it back stock if you want. Haggerty's has the 65 GT Fastback with the "A" code listed for $38K in class 2 condition, and class 3 at around $30K. Starting a new business and I want to sell the car to fund it. I can deliver it anywhere in Florida or meet you at the Florida/Georgia state line with the title.
