Vehicle Detail
2005 Ford F-150 Lariat Supercrew 4x4. Black and Adobe exterior, tan leather interior. 170k miles. Synthetic oil. Recent parts include a full new brake system including 4 new Raybestos brake hoses, 1 new rear hard line, drilled & slotted zinc coated rotors, red painted remanufactured calipers, ceramic pads, and NEW, NOT REBUILT master cylinder. New driving lights (in factory location in bumper), never used B&W Gooseneck hitch and two 2-5/16" balls, (one from dually that is slightly used and one from this truck never used) LUND TriFold Tonneau Cover. Transmission rebuilt 2.5 years ago about 10k miles. Can be verified with documentation. I was slowly rebuilding this truck for my son to use when he got his license. He has decided to go with something of his own. The engine has been giving me trouble for about 10 months and recently has really not been running well. I am told by a trusted mechanic that the problem is the cam phasers, and that it would be wiser to replace the engine than do the repair. I would still have a tired old engine, and it would probably cost less to replace it. I haven't brought it to dealer because I don't want to put another dime into it. Had new spark plugs, ignition coils & boots installed same time as transmission was rebuilt. Documentation for all parts and services performed. I installed 2-1/2" Hell Bent Steel leveling kit in front coils, and had an alignment done immediately afterward. I had a spring shop install an extra leaf in the rear springs. Brake controller installed, 7-way RV Style trailer connection, and 4-flat also, 2 inch hitch receiver, lighted running boards, OEM manuals & booklet holder, AM/FM 6 CD changer, front & rear Weather tech floor liners, climate control, power rear slider, power windows, door locks, & adjustable pedals, power driver seat, 2 key fobs, 3 keys, keyless entry, driver door keypad to lock/unlock doors. Well worn Cooper Discoverer AT on factory 18" aluminum wheels. LT 275/70 R18 load range E (33" equivalent). I have personally put 50k miles on them. They were fairly new when I bought the truck from original owner with 120k on the odometer. There's probably 10k more miles before you will need to change the tires but I would definitely get new tires before winter.
