1960 Edsel Ranger - One of just 1126 Four Door Sedans ever made - How many have you seen in this color? Correct and rare Lilac Metallic and Polar White Runs and drives very well Built on Oct 14, 1959 292 - Manual transmission Cosmetic/Amateur restoration of this solid South Carolina car completed in 1997. This car has been running and garaged its whole life. It has never sat unused or neglected. The engine has never been rebuilt. I purchased it from second owner in 1992. The previous owner kept this car from 1962-1992, used it as a family car, and kept it garaged. We have driven it to Edsel shows as far as Illinois, Dearborn, Maryland, Chattanooga, etc. Many honors and awards including trophies at Edsel shows and invitations to Hilton Head Concours and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Restoration included minor body work to rear left quarter, repaint in original colors, new upholstery using authentic cloth and vinyl, and rechromed bumpers. All other chrome is original. The paint shows a little age and a few minor flaws, light scratches, etc. Original door panels and headliner. Original paint on dash. Silicone brake system. Clock works most of the time. Radio does not work. Recent carpet, tune up, and carb rebuild. Four NOS tail light lenses included-these were only used on the show field. Reproduction "driver" tail light pictured on car.
