Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1960 Chevrolet V8 Bel Air 2 Door Bubble Top Coupe. It is a great mild custom / restomod car that looks like a million bucks and can be reliably driven around. Always been properly cared for and stored in a climate controlled garage. It looks like a show car, but it's definitely not a trailer queen by any means - it does get driven, used, and enjoyed like it was meant to. The bright red paint is less than 2 years old and looks great with very few imperfections. It is originally a V8 Bel Air and for those who know it had a single piece of trim down the rear quarter, that was shaved and smoothed and the high level Impala style white stripe and 2 trim strips were added with a custom Badass logo down the sides. The trunk key-lock was shaved as well and a release was installed under the seat. The tail lights are from a 59' Cadillac and really make the rear look great. New weather stripping on the doors and trunk. The custom tan and black 2-tone interior was done around the same time as the paint, and it looks great with the custom bucket seats, custom center console, door panels to match, and an original Impala steering wheel to top it off. The trunk had custom upholstery done as well with plush carpeting on bottom, black vinyl side panels, and tan back-panel with raised Chevy bowtie logo that matches the interior. The stainless and chrome is in very presentable shape, as well as a nice clean engine bay sporting the original 283ci V8 that runs like a top, original transmission, and a set of true dual exhaust pipes with cherry bombs that make the sweetest sound when you put your foot down. It's not a race car by any means but has more than enough power to to get this big boat going down the road. Lowered suspension makes the perfect stance for the brand new staggered 18x8 front & 20x10 rear custom wheels and tires that finish off the restomod look. Looks very low and long, but it never scrapes and is a perfect ride height for both comfort and looks. It's not a frame-off restoration or museum quality car by any means, but rather a great looking, turn-key restomod / hotrod with beautiful lines and custom touches that you can drive around town and to local shows and get looks wherever you go. This is a NO RESERVE auction, meaning the car will be sold to the highest bidder. Feel free to contact me with any OFFERS, QUESTIONS, or to come SEE THE CAR IN PERSON before bidding. Bidders with less than a 5 feedback score must message me (with your name and phone number) before bidding, otherwise I will cancel your bids. Car is sold as-is with a clean title.
