I changed the pictures to ones with higher resolution and added some drive movies Up for auction is a vintage 1975 Triumph Spitfire 1500 with low (23k) original miles. I am the third owner of the car, and I bought it with around 16k miles on it ten years ago. The car starts right up and runs well. Everything works on the car - even the annoying buzzer when the door is open. I do not drive this enough to warrent having it anymore. The car has a clear Mass title and has not been in any accidents. The car now has a current MA inspection sticker good until JUL 16. The inside looks decent and the wood on the dash has no cracks. The top of the dash is also fine with no cracks. The paint job is original and tired. Some areas need some small touchup. There are two small dings on each of the rear quarters one can be seen in the side view picture. The other ding is smaller as seen in the other picture. These look like simple repairs. The body and frame are in good shape along with the floor pans - see pictures. There is some surface rust in areas under the hood as can be seen in the engine bay pictures. The car has an electronic ignition which works great. The fuel pump was recently changed and the tires are good with lots of tread on them. The car comes with a cloth soft top in good condition, a tonneau top and a soft top cover both in good condition along with a car cover which could use a washing. The car comes with a spare tire and jack components. The car has always been garaged even by the two prior owners. This is a fun car to drive and it gets all sorts of looks whenever I drive it. I welcome test drives. I will drive though. I had an Alfa Spider which I sold on ebay last year and the potential buyer beat on my car and he did not buy it. That plus insurance issues. A 500 dollar deposit due at end of auction. Buyer is responsible for car pickup. I will not loan the plates. The car comes as is with no implied warrenty. The car comes with a few workshop manuals as well by Haynes and Bently.
