1948 Chevrolet Fleetline 4-door street-rod-in-progress. Body: - shaved doors - shaved trunk - filled rear fenders - needs rockers and trunk floor (mini-tubbing the rear will take care of this) - known bondo on front fenders; front fenders around the headlight buckets are in rough shape - dent the size of $.50-piece on nose of hood - firewall was cut to fit the frame Frame: - '78-'88 G-body (Malibu/Monte Carlo) - front and rear frame horns cut off Suspension: - stock Monte/Nova/Malibu in front - stock leaf in rear Powertrain: - 2006 Vortec 8100 (8.1L/496ci) Interior: - nothing stock except maybe dashboard Extras: - engine computer from Howell Engineering - full EZ Wiring harness - Flaming River paintable tilt steering column - Lecarra leather steering wheel - interior from 2004 Lexus IS350 (power bucket fronts, bench rear, console) - Gennie Shifter swan-neck floor shifter - TPI Tech gauge set - billet adapter for gauge set to stock dash - adapter for steering wheel to column - many more parts I'm sure I'm forgetting Why I'm selling: The short version is that it's more of a project than I'm prepared for. Since I just moved, the new place doesn't have power, lights, etc in the garage yet, and I'm unable to continue working on it. I still have everything that came off the car, like the chrome trim, grille, heater box, etc. Unfortunately, I'm unable to deliver, but it rolls very nicely, and I'd be happy to help push it up onto your trailer.
