Up for sale is the Chevy Camaro Z-28 you see in the photos! Fun, performance, muscle car with T-Tops! A low-mileage special! In fact... SUPER low miles, if you consider the year of this car! You won't find too many engines like this with so few original miles on them! If you want a classic performance car with ages left on the engine, look no further. This is the Z 28, which is the top performance model of the Camaro; this year features the LT-1 engine, which is the same as was put in the Corvette. The 1997 is the 30th Anniversary model, as well. I place this vehicle, in terms of the Kelly Blue Book rating, between "Good" and "Very Good", especially compared to other similar cars. There are no known major mechanical issues, the body is in excellent shape with good original paint (in amazing condition for this model year). The interior is overall very good and clean, except a crack in the dash which appeared after putting car up for sale (which most Camaros of this year develop; it's an easy fix). The carpet is good. The engine is very clean. Most important is the LOW MILEAGE and youthful feel of the engine! The car has always been properly maintained and it's been started regularly in the timeframe after I've been driving it regularly. It's been nicely looked after, with fewer potential issues than one might expect from a car with some years on it. It's worth noting the water pump was replaced comparatively recently. Master cylinder was replaced recently. New high-end brake pads. Radiator hoses recently replaced and cooling system recently flushed. Smoke-free vehicle! It's never had a cigarette in it, lit or unlit. This is the perfect car for someone who wants to build up a car, without having to start with the average over-used, worn-out car you'd normally get for this price. Why not start with a car which is already a beauty, and running fine? Even if you aren't into building it up, just buy it for a fun ride! The color is what Chevy calls "cayenne red", which is a kind of burnt red. It looks a little more candy apple in these photos but that's because of the camera and lighting conditions at the time. The color has a lot of "flip" so it looks a little different under different light. I have posted a couple very recent pics, taken only a couple days ago, in full sun taken with my phone to hopefully show the color as best possible.
