I purchased this Brooklands Green Thruxton new in 2013 just for the sheer pleasure of building it. Other than maintenance rides this motorcycle remains covered in a very well kept garage (see photos). Over $13,000 invested; here’s what it has: 1. Powder coated aluminum Excel Rims (5.5” x 17” rear, 3.5” x 17” front) shod with Michelin Pilot Road 2 sport touring tires. Tires have less than 600 miles. 2. Predator slip on exhaust from British Customs 3. Airbox removal kit from British Customs with DNA pod filters from Triumph Twin Power (TTP) 4. Custom EFI tune from TTP 5. Fender eliminator kit from British Customs. 6. Small retro style smoked turn signals 7. 19 tooth front sprocket (stock is 18) 8. Gold anodized rear sprocket (same number of teeth just higher quality metal) 9. Progressive rear shocks (adjustment for preload and compression damping) 10. Progressive front springs (adjustment for preload only) 11. Matching fly screen (now stock on ’14 models) 12. Fork gators (dust covers) 13. Fuel tank de-badged (stick-on plastic badge that can be replaced if you so desire) 14. Accessory socket (for plugging in heated gear and/or a battery tender) If you’ve ever had the chance to ride a stock Thruxton you know that the tires, suspension, and exhaust leave much to be desired. These issues (and more) have been addressed with the above modifications. This motorcycle has been transformed into the “modern classic” it was meant to be. The sound is amazing, fuel injection is spot-on, and the new tires and suspension make for an incredible ride. The original mufflers, air box, chain guard, front fork springs, rear shocks, rear fender, front and rear sprockets, and turn signals will be included if you would like to have them. I have a clear title in hand ready to go.
