This is a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang coupe. It is an automatic, manual steering equipped with a 289 2 barrel carberator and duel exhaust. I have owned the car for six years and it has been garaged all that time. I purchased it from someone in Texas and do not know anything else about its history. I stripped the body and interior down and left the engine intact. I had the body and interior restored by Classic Creations of Central Florida. It has new carpets, floor mats, pony seats, pony door panels, dash pad, head liner, sun visors and more. It also has new weather stripping and seals everywhere. The cowl vent has been replaced so there is no leaking. The floor pans have been replaced so there is no rust. The front and rear valance and gas tank are new. It has a beautiful new Caspian blue paint job. I replaced the oil pan because the original one had a dent in it. It has a new 160 thermostat and water pump. Fog lights were also added with a switch in the dash. The tires are in great shape with a lot of tread left with a great set of rims. The am/fm radio is brand new, but is not working right now. Have not figured that one out yet. The speedometer, odometer, and gas gauge are not working properly. There is a small coolant leak that just started happening under the passenger side dash, but have not had time to investigate it yet. I believe it is a hose that goes through the firewall in that area. The alternator does need to be replaced. The battery cables and wires to alternator are new. The engine runs and sounds great. I show the car at Old Town in Kissimmee, Florida a couple of times a year and get a lot of compliments on the car. I also own a 1966 Ford Mustang coupe which I am going to concentrate all my efforts on. I am just down sizing and keeping it more simple. The 1965 Mustang will make a great antique car for anyone who is interested. The buyer is responsible for picking it up or shipping.
