Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1968 mustang fastback. It was originally a 289 v8 engine with a c4 auto trans. The car was originally lime gold with tan interior. The car is rust free except for the floor pans. New full floor pans are included, but the body shop never managed to put them in. The body is very straight and has numerous new body panels mostly dynacorn. All glass is included and in good condition except for the windshield. Car comes with a non numbers matching 289 engine that i am uncertain if it will be rebuildable or not. Have brand new stainless brake lines that have not yet been installed. Suspension parts are intact and on the car along with 4 wheel drum brakes and 5 lug wheels. Has an 8 inch rear end. Have extra trunk lid and passenger side door. Have the driveshaft and 2 brake master cylinders. Have heater controls and boxes as well as gauges and some interior trim panels but far from all needed for a full resto. I do have the fastback rear seats but i do not have the fronts. The car will make an excellent restomod or factory restore. The bodywork is not completely done but the vast majority of the work has already been done. Mustang restoration books show dynacorn full fastback bodys for sale for over 17000 dollars and that doesnt include a vin number or front fenders or hood. This would be an excellent way to start a fastback project cheaply and at the same time have a body that is well above the average project condition. I am only selling due to another purchase and need room in the garage; otherwise it would sit until im ready to re start the project, and if it doesnt sell i have no problem keeping the car and finding storage. Bear in mind this is an old car and it will not be perfect and i will do my best to represent the car as accuratly as possible. If you have any questions at all do not hesitate to send them to me. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy. ThanksNate
