Its extremely low, all original mileage and all original condition are almost impossible to find anywhere. The original Light Ivory paint is extremely well preserved and is in showroom condition. All exterior trim including chrome and aluminum pieces shine like new. The rare Tobacco brown MB-Tex interior has been well cared for and has been detailed to a very high standard with an aim at its preservation. There is absolutely no rust ANYWHERE on this car. The dash is still soft and has no cracks, and there have been no accidents in its history. This car has been garaged and maintained its entire 2 owner life. No expense was spared in its care to keep it on the road. All buttons, knobs, switches, and lights are in working order. The heater works beautifully. The A/C blows cool, but needs a recharge. The upholstery, the dark brown carpeting, and the wood trim are all in excellent original condition and show almost no wear. The Becker radio has been refurbished and works perfectly. This 300SD drives beautifully and has no rattles inside. The OM617 turbodiesel engine is one of the best engines ever made, with plenty of torque. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the turbo-diesel powers this car easily to 80mph cruising. This would be a fantastic daily driver...luxury and economy in one gorgeous package. The engine bay displays all of its original tags and VIN numbers and has been thoroughly detailed. Original manuals, key, and a 1979 brochure are included! The sunroof and all windows and locks work. The hood pad was replaced with an OEM replacement, and the engine was recently serviced. I have a large amount of documentation that goes with the car. A comprehensive amount of maintenance totaling nearly $1500 was completed in the past year. A recent $3500 cosmetic preservation was completed. The incredible original paint, interior, and chassis was professionally deep cleaned and buffed to a very high standard.
