In deciding of whether to sell it or not, I wanted to optimize its condition. For the past year this bike has had every consumable rubber part and seal replaced in the entire bike. The transmission was disassembled and inspected for anything needing replacement, clutch splines cleaned and lubricated, all fuel components serviced, tuned, and replaced. The condition of this bike had it winning the local classic motorcycle show here in Missoula. Thankfully, BMW sells nearly everything for this bike in original form still new. I am an originality-enthusiast, and have made this bike completely era-correct. The handgrips are new, but are the original exact type that came on the bike when new, as are the handlebar switches, cables, and so much more listed below.
