Output from the engine maxes out with 115 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 110 foot-pounds of torque at 4,500 rpm. The engine in the GT-S also has a bore measuring 3.03 inches, a stroke measuring 3.38 inches, a displacement totaling 1,598 cc and a compression ratio of 10.6:1. Toyota offered the Corolla GT-S with only one transmission, a five-speed manual outfitted with overdrive.Interior· Four occupants can fit at a time inside the GT-S, with two in the front seats and two in the rear. The car's front seats provide 52.4 inches of shoulder room and 53.7 inches of hip room. The rear seats provide 51.1 inches of shoulder room and 46.5 inches of hip room. Headroom in the car measures 37.9 inches in the front seating area and 35.3 inches in the rear seating area. Front seat occupants get 42.9 inches of legroom, while the rear seat occupants get 25.8 inches of legroom.· Exterior Dimensions· The outside of the Corolla GT-S has two doors and a body that has a measured length of 172.2 inches, a width totaling 65.6 inches and a height of 49.6 inches. Track width for the Corolla GT-S measures 56.9 inches in the front of the car and 56.1 inches in the rear of the car. The car's wheelbase extends for a total of 95.7 inches. Curb weight for the Corolla GT-S measures 2,372 lbs. Other details about this car: This was a new car trade in at Jeff Wyler (a very large new car dealership in the area), We recently bought this and this is what we know about the car:The interior is nearly perfect with very little wear on the driver's seat. The bolster is frayed and has a small hole but is not bad. Dash is nice with no cracks. All the gauges work perfectly, clock works. Emergency brake handle bracket is either missing a bolt or it is broken (when you lift up on it is seems to be loose). A/C does not blow cold I do not know if it needs charged or if it is something else, I do know the compressor is NOT locked up.Tires need to be replaced soon all of them have less than 5/32nds of tread and one does have a broken belt however I have driven on it with little to no vibration. Rims need refinished to be perfect, they are oxidized and pitted this is a 25 year old car. Spare tire is in the trunk of the car, trunk pan looks to be clean and free of rust.Engine and transmission looks to be bone stock as most of this car does. I cannot stress how well this car runs. It has plenty of power and get up and go. Revs easily with no smoke, knocks, or ticking. Popup Headlights and factory radio works perfectly. I have never tried opening the sunroof so I do not know if it works. I didn't want to risk breaking anything, in fear the it would not close back. I have never tested the cruise control. Some blemishes in the paint, this is a 25 year old car. Sunroof paint looks some what dry. This car has rust on the lower rocker/quarter panels please see pictures. This rust is through the sheet metal on the rocker panels and will need to be cut out and replaced to fix the rust properly. Looks to have some surface rust behind the rear wheels (see pictures). There is some surface rust on the deck lid not through the deck lid sheet metal. Decals on trunk are fading. Deep scratch/dent on driver's front door, multiple small rock chips on front bumper, side skirts and hood. Some other paint blemishes on the hood (looks like tree sap that bit in to the paint). This car is a 1990 however it has the same motor and drive train as they didn't change it for a few years. This was information I looked up about the car.
