Beautiful 1967 Porsche 912, California car, 5-Speed for sale. This car was purchased from its third owner about 5 months ago. It was originally purchased on June 15, 1967 in Fresno, California and has been in that area most its life. Original paint code was 6605 Bahama Yellow. It was painted its current color Light Ivory about 20 years ago. The original motor case was replaced in 2000 due to a crack. The car starts and runs, but will need some carburetor syncing and possible rebuild (original dual Solex 40 P11-4 carburetors). Original service book including the certificate of delivery to the dealership, owner manual, and many records of repair and rebuild are also included. I have personally replaced the ignition coil, cap, rotor, points, plugs and wires, and the rear shocks within the last month. The current state of the car is good. The paint buffed out beautifully, but it shows some minor bubbling. It does have some negligible rust in the usual places (see pics). All the trim is complete. The interior is all original, driver’s seat has some ripping. There is some sagging in the headliner as well. This car has the 5 gauge cluster and all gauges seem to be in working order. The electrical system is also functioning as the lights, turn signals, and stereo all work properly. Tires are Michelin XGT H4 Pilots 195/60 R15 with plenty of tread. The dash is in great shape with no cracks. The floorboards show some rust (see pics) and will eventually need repair and there is a dent in the front bumper – these would be easy repairs for a body shop. Also included are Porsche floor mats. The car is currently located in Temecula, CA, has a clean California title and is currently registered as a non-op. This car would need minimal work to make it a great running daily driver and is also a great car for someone looking to do a full restore.
