Vehicle Detail
This model of Jeep was only produced for 3 years (2004, 2005 and 2006). They are highly sought after because of the extra room in the back and are difficult to find. Mechanically, this Jeep is in excellent condition. I have several vehicles and have only driven it lightly since I purchased it. IT HAS NEVER BEEN OFFROADING. EVER. It has never been wrecked, no body damage, no leaks of any kind, no body rust, etc. Even with the modifications, it rides smoothly and handles well. I have taken excellent care of it. It was garage kept most of the time. I am not a smoker and NO ONE has ever smoked in this Jeep. I have clean title in hand; this Jeep is and has always been owned outright. Blue Book Private Party value is at about $17,000. As far as cosmetic condition, there are some areas that need to be addressed, listed below:The knob for the AC has fallen off and needs to be replaced. The AC works fine but it needs a new knob. The face plate for the stock radio has fallen off and needs to be glued. The radio works fine but the face plate just needs to be adhered back on.The windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced.I painted all the fenders to match the factory paint. When you do this, it is normal for the paint to peel off after some time. That is what is happening now. There are two solutions: 1-remove what is left of the paint and leave the fenders in their factory condition or 2-repaint the fenders to match the factory paint. It is not a big deal but it is an eye sore right now that needs attention. The Jeep has a bunch of bumper stickers. They can all be removed without damaging the paint if done correctly. The photos will show that not all the tires are worn out the same. These tires are no longer made. I replaced one of them recently because of a bad puncture that could not be repaired. My intention was to replace all the tires but because these tires are no longer made, I decided to hold off and allow whomever buys this Jeep to decide what tires he or she wants. To clarify, the unevenly worn tires are not due to reckless driving or abusive handling or anything like that. The photos will give the impression that the Rhino Lining is stained but it is not. It is in perfect condition and completely black everywhere. That is actually some sand you see in the photo. I will try to get better photos with the area cleaned up.Seat covers have been used on the front seats since I purchased this Jeep. The factory seats are in immaculate condition. I still have the rear seat and have never used it. I have kept a detailed binder, with maintenance records, on the Jeep since its purchase. Below, just under the modifications, I will include a copy and paste of my maintenance records. I have the manuals, receipts, detailed invoices, original window sticker, etc, ALMOST EVERYTHING that pertains to this Jeep. I purchased it from a dealer in Ohio who took it on trade from an older gentleman who had never even taken the doors or top off. He kept it in the garage and only used it leisurely during spring & summer months. It is gold with black/dark grey interior with the 6-cyclinder Power Tech engine. I originally purchased it pre-owned and stock. It had 32,880 miles when it arrived via enclosed transport November 2009. It came with a hard top and a soft top. Since then, I have made the following modifications: 1. Back seat and all carpeting removed. 2. Rhino lining to entire interior installed. 3. Dale Earnhardt Jr. “Cannon” Wheels in black – 17x9, 5 on 4.5, -12 offset with wheel locks. 4. Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ 33” Tires – 305/65/R17 – no white letter outline. 5. 2.5” Lift with Suspension 6. Gears Upgraded to 456 7. 3” Diameter Front Fender with Hoop, Rear Fender with Upgraded Tow Kit/Hitch, Side Rails – all in satin black by Smittybuilt. 8. Front Fog Lamps. 9. Smittybuilt License Plate Bracket for Front Fender in Satin Black. 10. Locked Gas Cap Door/Housing painted to match factory paint. 11. Painted all fenders to match factory paint – CHIPPING! Needs to be either redone or removed. 12. Smittybuilt full front seat covers in black neoprene. Original seats have been covered 100% since I purchased Jeep. 13. Upgraded horn. 14. 3M window tinting. 15. Horntones FX-550. 16. Clifford IG770 vehicle security system with motion sensor. 17. Memphis Car Audio upgraded MClass speakers & Subwoofer but kept factory radio. The face of the factory radio needs repair. 18. Safari straps for entire rear. 19. NEED TO FIND THEM ALL - CONSIDER THESE GIFTS WITH PURCHASE - Miscellaneous accessories: safari doors, hardtop organized storage system, bikini channel, bikini top for LWB, door/window channels for soft top, removable trunk, rear seat, soft top (although it may need new windows), other small items. 32,880 Mileage at arrival in Miami on 11/17/2009 - Inspection done by Planet Off-Road - everything checked out fine 33,178 Installed Rhino Lining from 11/30/2009 to 12/03/2009 33,288 Installed all modifications with Planet Off-Road from 12/10/2009 to 12/18/2009 35,756 Performed recommended service on engine equivalent to Maintenance Schedule Service "B" for 30,000 & 33,000 miles, including oil change, new spark plugs, change of oil filter & air filter, inspection & filling of all fluids. 37,693 Replaced battery 39,317 Performed recommended service on engine equivalent to Maintenance Schedule Service "B" for 39,000 miles, including oil change, inspection & filling of all fluids, lines & hoses.
