1968 Chevrolet Chevy C50 Dump Truck Runs Great Rebuilt Dump Box Selling a 1968 C50 dump truck. Strong 350 engine, 4 speed transmission with 2 a speed rear end (4 speed Hi-Low split axle). 2 speed rear works like it should Truck runs great, no oil leaks and no smoke.No CDL is required to operate this truck on the road. Box was rebuilt 3 years ago with new channel underneath and new floor using ¼” thick AR400 steel (abrasion resistant steel) for long wear life. Box rebuild was done right and will last for years. Tag says 4 yard capacity and I have hauled 9 tons of gravel many times with this truck. Ram had absolutely no trouble lifting this much load. 2 way endgate – regular dump or pivot at the bottom. Body is rough, but not the worst, hydraulics do not leak. Tires are all in great shape with no leaks. Just put on a new exhaust manifold (previous owner had broke off one bolt tab) New front brake shoes, new master cylinder and a couple new wheel cylinders installed within the last 1000 miles. Rear brake shoes are like new. Dual exhaust was new when I acquired the truck. Power steering does not leak and works great. All dash gauges and exterior lights work. Carburetor was rebuilt 3 years ago. Truck has never left me stranded. I've put some money and work into this truck to make it decent. I'm done using for what I bought it for (hauling and old foundation as well as gravel) and now it is time for it to find a new owner. Great dump truck for the money!
