Top of Form WARRANTY NUMBER BODY COLOR TRIM DATE DSO AXLE TRANS This car has come out of many years of storage and is mostly original: · Original White Paint · Original uni-body · Original Sheet Metal · Original Dark Red Interior · Original wiring · Original glass Not original: · Engine, Transmission, Pedals, Rear end, Suspension, wearable parts. This is a very solid car with many useable parts. Below is a description of the major stuff (in my opinion): Ø- Original paint- very thin, surface rust, scratches- poor Ø- Original Grill and surrounding trim, headlight buckets, stone guard- no rust other than surface rust -very good. Ø- Original Hood- surface rust, no major dents- very good Ø- Original front fenders- surface rust, no rust through in corners (passenger side has blister), no major dents- very good Ø- Original doors- surface rust, no major dents, Passenger-no rust through in corners, Drivers- quarter size rust through in corner, solid bottoms- very good. Ø- Original roof- surface rust, a few small dents- good. Ø- Original trunk lid- surface rust, no rust through, rubber seal detached, no dents- very good. Ø- Original rear quarters- surface rust, rust through in lower rear and around wheel wells, small dent in passenger side, (I would repair rather than replace) - poor. Ø- Original Tail light panel- surface rust, no rust through- very good. Ø- Original rear valance- solid, but dented- poor. Ø- Original A and B pillars- surface rust, no rust through- very good. Ø- Exterior trim- all there and original- some small dents- overall-good Ø- Cowl- I flooded it with water and no leaks inside of the car. Ø- Original glass- clear, no chips or cracks, date coded correct- very good Structures: $- Engine compartment- very solid and original, good aprons, shock towers, radiator support, cowl area. There is some blistering on the top of the aprons (both sides) in the typical area. $- Frame rails- front and back frame rails are very solid, no repair or replacement needed, some surface rust. $- Torque Boxes- Both front plates have rust through, but repairable or replace. $- Floor pans- Very solid overall, but areas of rust through by driver’s side toe board, behind seat riser, and rear corner under rear seat, and passenger side very small hole on front floorboard. All areas are easily repairable. $- Trunk floors- Very solid, no rust through including both sides and areas surrounding gas tank. Surface rust. Trunk drop-offs are rusted through on both sides and need replacing. $- Wheels wells- both sides, outer and inner very solid. Drive Train- *- Engine- Non-original, 302 V-8, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley 4bbl carburetor, starts and runs strong. *- Transmission- Non-original, 1967 Ford 3 speed toploader with Hurst shifter and linkage- shifts good, clutch seems fine. *- Rear end- Non original, Ford 8” non-locking rear, gear ratio unknown, 5-lug wheels. *- Front spindles- Non-original, Ford 5-lug, drum brakes. *- Brakes- Not currently functional. The master cylinder works and brake lines are all there. The front rubber brake lines were cut when the spindles were changed. No Brakes! *- Wheels/Tires- Correct Ford steel rims. Old, weather checked tires that hold air- not road worthy. *- Gas Tank- The original tank is full of crud and needs to be cleaned. I disconnected the fuel line. I connected the fuel line to the windshield washer reservoir and put gas in it so engine could run. Interior- o Original front seats- need to be recovered, rusted seat tracks. o Original rear seats- appear good, useable as is. o Original rear fastback interior fiberglass panels- not cut, no apparent cracks, faded, very good condition. o Other rear trim- all original and complete, some surface rust, very good condition. o Dash pad- original? A little warped and faded from sun. o Gauge cluster- appears original and working, dash lights work o Radio- original AM- works! o Steel dash- not cut or dented o Wipers- work as they should o Heater motor- blower motor does not work; other controls work as they should. o Headliner- gone. Bows are all there. o Carpet- Gone o Headlight and ignition switches both work. o Interior courtesy lights- all work o Door panels- original? Chrome accents are peeling, otherwise good. This old Mustang is a time capsule in very original condition. Starting its life out in California and delivered to Denver has helped keep major rust at bay. The car will run and yard drive (not road worthy). The interior and exterior lights, as well as most electronics, work. Here’s a car with no surprises- you know what you are dealing with. No restoration is easy, or cheap, but this is a solid start with very good parts, and mostly complete. No title issues, either. Definitely worthy of a quality restoration! Please contact me for any additional information or pictures needed to increase your comfort level of bidding. Better yet, let’s meet and I would be happy to show you this car! 10 day sale to allow more time for consideration! I am an honest seller with 100% feedback.
