You are looking at a newly finished 1967 C-10. I took this truck on trade and have spent many hours and $$$ on disassembly and updating before reassembly. It has been done in a resto mod style. This was originally a long bed truck but it has been converted to short wheel base. The complete updated suspension, and engine/trans are from a 1978 1/2 ton truck. This was done to improve the drivability of the truck. This truck comes with a Clear Missouri title. It is showing 53,000 miles on the clock but I have no idea how many it actually has. This truck just placed 1st in its class at a show this past weekend!! Exterior; this was a very solid truck with original cab, hood, grille, fenders, & doors. The rockers and cab corners were replaced. The fitment of the body lines and panel gaps are very nice. It was painted with DuPont base/clear in a beautiful Sangria Red Met. The complete bedsides, tailgate, rear wheel tubs, bed wood, bolt kit & roll pan are new. Also the outer handles, door mirror, grille trim, bowtie, headlamp bezels, windshield, windshield and rear glass rubber, front and rear lamp assemblies are new. It also has new door seals, window felt and channel kits. Door locks work. Interior; the original gauge cluster was restored with the addition of aftermarket gauges for the engine(including; oil, water, vacuum & amps). The speedo & fuel gauges work along with the turn indicators and generator light. It has a tilt column, 94 style steering wheel, new carpet, dash pad, seat cover, kick panels, glove box, arm rests on 72 style panels, step plates, and restored seat belts. the dash is uncut with a custom cover(can be removed) over the factory radio hole(no radio). New heater core installed. This truck has a new complete Auto Wire Update Harness Kit. The complete wiring harness, fuse box, fuses, ignition switch, dimmer switch & headlamp switch were included in kit. This kit updates the system to blade type fuses, internally regulated alternator, and HEI ignition all with original GM color codes and connectors. Headlamps, tail lamps, turn signals, hazard, dome & dash lamps work as they should. Also the wipers and heater works great. Drivetrain; 1978 stock 454 engine / 400 turbo trans. Long tube Hooker headers & Thrush Magnum mufflers, Edelbrock air gap intake & carb. Chrome air cleaner, Chevrolet covers, water neck & plug wire looms. Accel cap with Taylor wires, new hoses, belts, thermostat, fuel pump, plugs, antifreeze, radiator & heater core. Power disc/ drum, power steering. The rotors, drums, shoes, pads, & brake hoses are new along with the shocks and front sway bar bushings. This truck has 340 gears with fact locking diff. This truck has a rear mount fuel tank update kit with polished aluminum filler in bed floor. the fuel tank has been painted black since the first photos. The wheels are polished American Racing 15x9 front and rear and are in great condition. The truck could use new tires but these hold air and drive fine. The wheels/tires were purchased used. This truck does not have a horn, reverse lamps or parking brake. I do have the parking brake handle and mounting bracket. I opted not to reinstall because the 67/68 style handle is large and kind of ugly to me. Interior looks better without it. The cork gasket on the trans pan seeps a little when sitting(typical cork). Truck is located in Metropolis IL 62960 and must be picked up here. Serious bidders are welcome to come and inspect at any time. Please no joy riders. I can/will store for a short time. I will also help shipper load if needed. I require a $200 nonrefundable deposit through PayPal within 24 hrs. of auction ending. The remainder is due in CASH upon picking up the truck or cashiers check if shipping. My bank requires a 5 day hold on any check for clearance. Truck does not leave until funds clear PERIOD.
