This is my 94 Ranger up for sale. I purchased this truck in June 2010 for a daily driver to work and back. I used it daily until I was given a company vehicle to take home in Feb 2114. It has been driven only a few hundred miles since then, and sits most of the time. so guess it's time for it to move on to someone else. The current mileage as of this posting is 153,226. This may vary a little, as I try to drive it a few miles every week or so. Here are some things that have been replaced during my ownership: timing belt, starter, radiator, and water pump. It had new front rotors and pads installed about 5K miles ago Here are some known problems: I think it has a bad thermostat, because the heater wouldn't blow warm this past winter, even though it was up to operating temp. Also, it'll get above the normal operating temp if you're sitting in traffic on a hot day. The transmission may need service. It shifts smooth, but seems to get a little hot in stop and go traffic on a hot day. One tire was replaced in the last 6 months, but the remaining 3 will need to be replaced in the near future. There's some rust on top of the cab. The truck will start fine, but I've noticed recently that if you start it cold, then drive for only a few minutes, it won't start again for a little bit, this is something recent since it's been sitting. The air cond blows nice and cold, and a bed tool box is included. I've driven this truck between Houston and San Antonio (200 mi) quite a few times, and have never had any break downs or problems, but I'm not sure that I'd drive it on a long trip until a few things were checked out, and tires replaced. I'd plan to have it shipped if you're not local. Buyer is responsible for pick up in San Antonio, TX.
