This clean, low mileage Z3 is one of three BMW Z cars we were representing for an estate. The other 2 while very nice, are not quite as rare as the Z3 coupe so we figured ebay was the place for this one as they seem to be selling for more than the NADA book value. Our experience with specialty cars (such as vintage VW's) is that it is best to let an auction run its course to be fair to everyone who is participating.
In general, this Z3 is a very nice car. It has always been here in NC and does not have any rust or accident damage. Having been garaged (at least by the last owner) it was clean when we got it, but we still had it professionally detailed. Our service in preparation for sale was pretty basic and included a new battery, oil change, state inspection and a replacement climate control panel. The car runs strong and is very fun to drive - as you would expect. The next big expense we predict this car will have is tires. Right now it has Michelin Pilot Sports. They pass inspection but are closer to the end than the beginning. There are very few cosmetic imperfections especially for a 15 year old car. The one noticable ding is shown in the photos. The interior is also in good condition with only minor wear on the seats consistent with the age and mileage. From the photos underneath, it is really obvious that this is a low mileage Southern car, dry and rust free. The books and 2 keys are present.
