We'd bought it from as a package of fleet trucks from a local company. The previous owner converted it to a hook truck and used it in his roll off business, so it's seen some customization. This is a roughly 197" wheelbase 2 wheel drive 7.3 stick 550 with 10 feet cab to center of rear axle. It will accomodate a 14 foot flatbed even though the frame has been shortened slightly at the very rear. The truck has front and rear air bags, a custom 65 gallon fuel tank, and it's recently had the transmission rebuilt, clutch and rear main done. The mirrors and seating is from a 2008 Model. It's a very solid pickup and with low mileage it should be good for a long time to come. exterior This pickup is in pretty good shape for a workhorse. It's a Colorado truck and hasn't been exposed to road salt so there's no body or frame rot. I've included undercarriage photos in which you can see the trans was just done. The doors open and close fine, and windshield is free of cracks. I'm sure the bumper and grille have been replaced at some point. We painted the wheels just to clean it up. The truck has a set of temporary mud flaps and tail lights so it can be driven. There's a few dings on either side, and some at the back of the cab. It's not a show truck, but still quite decent for a service vehicle. The tires all have good remaining tread, though they are not a perfectly matched set. interior The cabin has had the seats removed and everything cleaned + re-installed. The seats are from a 2008 Superduty, 1 has a burn hole and they are power and do function, though the plastic trim is a bit beat up. The air blows cold and everything works inside, pretty basic work truck functionality. We put a cover plate over the hole in the tunnel on the floor where a shifter for the roll-back was. There's still a PTO pull on the drivers side, but not connected to anything. Yes, trans has a functional PTO provision, but nothing currently installed. You can see just a faint bit of surface rust inside the door seams at the bottom like most any 99 Superduty, it's not bad and shouldn't get worse for a long while yet, just common from the way Ford did the seams. mechanical This pickup runs out very well. It fires easy and has a new glow plug relay. The batteries are less than a year old. We were told the turbo had been replaced, along with a mess of other parts. The transmission and clutch and rear main were done recently, it shifts like a new truck more or less, very easy to get through the gears and no grinding. Yes, it rides like a rock with no bed, fine to drive anywhere, but bring a blanket to sit on. This truck is made to carry weight. The front end feels pretty tight, it fades just a hair to the right, but the ball joints and tie-rods, etc, all seem to be fairly tight. comments This is a neat rig and a good buy. Feel free to call me with ?s. 720-515-5285. It should also pass emissions anywhere. Denver Fleet Charges $249 Dealer Handling / Transfer on all Ebay Sales. About Us Denver Fleet is located just 10 minutes from Downtown Denver. We are a small detail-oriented firm that specializes in the sale of pre-owned commercial fleet and lease vehicles, work trucks, vans, service vehicles and hard-to-find automobiles. We are family operated and take great pride in our work. Please don't hesitate to give us a shout and let us know how we can help outfit you / your company with the right vehicle. If you see something we're selling and the price and vehicle makes sense, please do not wait around to see if you can commit larceny. All humor aside, these vehicles come and go very quickly for us and we tend to field a lot of sad phone calls from parties that missed out. Vehicle Inspection + Service Buyer reserves right to an inspection before purchase is finalized. We service everything we sell and make sure our vehicles are safe. We're not perfect, but we're darn good. We don't sell new or perfect cars. We sell good cars at exceptional value. We change the oil and filter in every vehicle, diesels get new fuel filters too. We know you expect us to be reasonable and we expect the same of you. Payment/Titles We're easy to get along with, but we need to know if you need special payment accommodation before you purchase. Our terms are flexible, so if you need time to either pickup the vehicle or extended payment terms all you need is ask. For several reasons, we do not accept American Express. Fine print: Successful bidder must contact us within 2 days of the close of the auction, and must submit a deposit of $500 within 3 days. Remaining balance is to be paid within 10 days of the close of the auction. We accept Paypal (For Down Payments Only), Master Card, Discover, Visa, Debit-Cards, Bank Wire Transfers, Money Order, Cashiers Check, Cash in Person, and you can call with any other offers. We're very easy to get along with. Denver Fleet is a registered Colorado dealer. Our state allows dealers 30 days for title delivery. Titles are generally sent registered mail, and we are running roughly 2-3 weeks title delivery at present. IF YOUR SITUATION requires that a title is expedited quicker than this PLEASE ADVISE us prior to arranging payment / purchase. Delivery/Shipping Pick it up: We regularly pick up people at Denver International Airport (DEN) free of charge and bring them to the lot for pickup. The airport is about 20 minutes from our shop. We do not offer airport pickup on Saturday or Sunday. Saturday we do not have a driver, and Sunday we are closed by law, no exceptions! There are no additional charges for pickup. You can also visit Dependable Auto Shippers, their local terminal is pretty close to us, so we can drop the vehicle there free of charge. Call us for a shipping quote if you need one. Please do not make important plans that hinge on transportation. Shipping vehicles is a very fluid procedure that dedepends on many people and many factors including mother nature, road hazards, automotive break downs, and some might say: the all mighty. Financing Options Denver Fleet can provide financing for customers with good credit in Colorado only. We do have a few options for out of state financing for well qualified applicants. Often, your best bet is to visit your local credit union and you'll have no problem obtaining a loan for an out of state vehicle. There are several online companies that offer financing as well, just Google 'vehicle financing' or 'auto loans' At 5.99% with $0 down for 60 months, each $1,000 costs you roughly $19.32 per month. There are institutions lending as low as 1-3% for highly qualified customers. Dealer Disclosure (more fine print you should probably read) We do our very best to describe the vehicles as they really are and the options they have, though everyone has a different opinion of what a condition might be. Please examine all the photos carefully and read the full text of the advertisement. Denver Fleet reserves the right to sell the vehicle at any time before a deposit has been left on the vehicle, even when the reserve has been met. Denver Fleet also reserves the right to end the auction early. We sell many of our vehicles before the end of the auction. Feel free to call with any questions. It is our experience and our volume that allows us to sell vehicles at lower prices than most businesses on EBay or off, but please know that the phrase "You get what you pay for." is constant in both the real world and the car business. All vehicles are sold "AS IS" unless otherwise specified. Local residents of Colorado must pay taxes at our dealership, but will not have to pay them again when going to register the vehicle. There is a $249 transfer and handling fee that applies to all sales both in state and out. Again, all vehicles are for sale locally, and before the end of the auction. Just because you are the high bidder doesn't mean you have the vehicle reserved. EBay allows us the option of ending auctions early because all vehicle are for sale at any point during the auction. If you are concerned, the buy it now option is always a good idea. In very rare instances, the vehicle is being sold locally while someone has pressed the buy it now. You're welcome to call before you bid, we thank you, Happy EBaying Denver Fleet 1951 E 68th Ave Unit C Denver CO 80229 (720) 515-5285 Fax: (303) 583-8369 Email: denverfleet@gmail.com Paypal: timothyalex@gmail.com Web: www.denverfleet.com
