Here is a very very nice 1961 Buick Electra. I bought this car 5 years ago with the intention of eventually giving it to my son, and well, he wants something completely different. The car is a very well cared for Buick, with only 130,000 miles on it. These are real miles as you look at the engine compartment and the wear on the petals and how nicely all the doors fit and close. The mechanical s on this car are very nice. The engine starts always on the first turn and no noise or smoke ever. The car idles well and I have had it at car shows idling for more than 20 minutes at a time and never gets hot. The transmission shifts very smooth, both up shift and down shift. The brakes and steering are very nice and no pulling to either side, no matter how hard you step on them. The tires are new and I just had the car serviced with new fluids and lubrication. The only problem my mechanic could find was that the center support bearing on the drive-shaft is going out and will need to be replaced. The dash pad is mint and has always had a cover on it. The dash if you have never driven an early Buick is a mirror with reverse gauges and it adjusts to the driver.... so cool for 1961! the body is very straight and with the exception of a minor rust spot on the drivers door bottom. there is not a drop of rust under the car. The cool space age clock on the dash works, the radio works and all of the lights and electrical work!
