runs and drives good. daily driven. developed missfire when started after setting and is using a little coolant. apears that it needs the head gaskets replaced. i am selling this for a friend, he has owned it for over 7 years. after this one developed this problem he decided to get a newer one and let someone else fix it.this has been a very good vehicle for him. so much so that he bought another, newer 4 runner.if you are mechanically inclined, this is worth fixing-the a/c is cold, the 4wd works perfect, everything is tight, no rattles.the engine still runs fine. there is a miss for about 20-30 seconds when started, and if it sets for more than a day, when it is started, there is smoke out of the exhaust for a minute or two.does not overheat as long as the radiator is kept filled he said it was using about a half gallon a week, driving all of his normal places. he drove it for a couple months while it was doing this untill he found the one he bought. i would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere as is. everything known wrongleaking head gasketradio antenna is broken offcheck engine light has been on for a while, has code for idle control valveair bag light ontires are worn, not shot they have been on it for about 6 yrs and have about 65000mi on them.
