In 1999 when this beautiful Triumph left the factory floor as a Legend 900, the owner could have purchased a Thruxton model. The Thruxton was Triumph's assembly line café racer style bike. But when it comes to true enthusiasts, most believe that real café racers are built and not bought. The style of bike, from its very origins, was about taking the best engineering from a number of motorcycle parts manufacturers and building the fastest bike possible. And, that is exactly where the birth of this beautiful Triumph Custom Café Racer came from: a bike upgraded and customized with all top of the line parts, producing one awesome piece of machinery and art. The triple carburetors have been reworked and rebuilt for additional performance. K&N air filters were added for better airflow and Raask exhaust system was added. The combination creates a sound that replicates most Italian sports cars. For the aggressive stance and performance the suspension was all upgraded using Ohlins parts. Clip on handlebars were added to lower the riders torso and increase aerodynamics. The thruxton cowl and seat pan were added to give the bike an enhanced café racer look and feel. The brakes and rear tires were just replaced using high end parts, less than 1,000 miles ago.
