Vehicle Detail
1967 Mercedes 250 SE European Coupe with 155 k or about 97000 actual miles . Original engine from factory which never been opened. This is a matching number car. Has been driven 48 years about 2000 miles a year. This car driven sparingly , not left just sitting, and has been periodically serviced by Mercedes dealer. The motor pops into life with one turn of the key and no smoke at any time, clutch is tight, no clashing gears, front end is as tight as it should. Car is completely road able for any trip. I am the second owner of the car. I spent substantial amount of money and time to restore this car. I would not restore this car if I had any doubt about the car. I could sell this car for 13 k before spending a penny for restoration. New 2 stage paint. New upholstery Complete wooden dash with high gloss clear coat. New bumpers New brake booster New brake master cylinder. New L/R caliper. New rear brake pads. New muffler and resonator. New Mercedes battery. New stereo with C/D player and Bluetooth (although the factory Becker radio is intact and need to be wired). New fog lights. New aftermarket 3rd stop lights.(for safety) New oil and filter . I spend various other new parts to make this car not only look good but roadworthy as well. She is a good conversation piece wherever I go. I'll be more than happy to pick you up from airport if you decide to come and check the car out yourself. you can hear the sunroof motor is working but doesn't open .I think the cable is jammed. It is an easy fix. Tail lights chrome is better to be refurbished. I didn't Change any glass rubbers because it doesn't need to be replaced. Sadly I have to sell this car for unfortunate situation. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions that you have before bidding . Enjoy your new car. She has been good to me. I can assist you with shipping. Successful bidder must deposit $500 through PayPal within 24 hours after closing of the auction. On Jun-06-15 at 17:32:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Thank you for all the inquiries.
