1971 Porsche 911E Targa ( built November 1970 ) 2.2 Litre Engine and 901 5 Speed Transmission as per the factory spec. Vin # 9111210293 , Engine # 6210585 . This is an original California Car, still with its Blue and Gold License Plates, still wears it's factory shade of Olive #3910 with Black interior.. It has been dry stored for the past 15 years and not driven on a regular basis. Although we don't have a COA , the numbers are all period correct and it still has the original Mechanical Fuel Injection in place. The car does run and drive but will need a full service before being put back into regular use. Body is straight and original, there are some areas of rust, ( see pics ) these are 2 areas under the rear window, one area under the right headlight, and the top of the passenger door where the trim is missing. The floorpans/suspension pans are solid and look to be original . The interior looks to be original and correct, Drivers seat has some loose stitching, door pockets are worn , and the dash has a vinyl cover . A great opportunity to purchase an original E that only needs cosmetic restoration. . Please note, the mileage quoted is the odometer reading and not the actual mileage .
