Vehicle Detail
1970 Mercedes Benz 250 This is a very original, unmolested car with original paint and very nice cognac color interior. It has a 6 cylinder engine with twin Zenith 2 brl carbs, a nice shifting 4 speed automatic transmission, air conditioning, and the factory Becker radio. Has new tires, runs and drives good with only 114K miles. No rust through body, all floor pans, fenders, rocker panels, trunk, everything is solid. Car originally from New Mexico and moved to Colorado 10 years ago. I have been using it as a fun commuter to work with a 40 mi round trip up until 5 months ago. I don't drive it anymore and it is time to let someone else enjoy it. It has some normal wear for being 45 years old. The steering wheel has some cracks as does the dash pad. There is a nice dash cover over it now. The headliner is in good condition except in the rear upper corners by the back glass, maybe heat shrunk? The seats are in great condition, no rips or tears. The material is still supple and no sagging of the seats. Carpet is in good condition, the radio works, all guages work except the clock. Windows roll up and down as they should. The car cruises on the highway just fine with no pull or drama. Things it needs: the washer bottle is cracked. The passenger side heater control cable is broken. Fine tune the carburators and a fresh tune up, then enjoy!
